This full-time role is primarily field-based with support from our office. We're looking for a dedicated professional with hands-on experience across a variety of fire suppression systems and a passion for high-quality service and maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend client sites to test and inspect fire suppression systems in line with British Standards and manufacturer specifications.Service, maintain, and commission systems such as FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Low and High Pressure Watermist, FirePro Aerosol, Kitchen Suppression Systems (Kitchenguard, Amerex, Ansul), and PAFSS.Diagnose and resolve faults using sound electrical principles.Record system activations and findings using our Simpro system.Issue service certificates and communicate any required rectifications to senior management.Complete service and installation work efficiently and to high standards.Respond to emergency callouts as needed, including occasional overtime.Write comprehensive technical reports for inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication and a professional approach at all times.Represent the company positively when dealing with clients and stakeholders.RequirementsAt least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with practical knowledge of a wide range of suppression systems.Mechanical or electrical engineering background.Full UK Driving License.Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.Practical, methodical approach to work.What We OfferCompetitive salary up to £50,000, depending on experience.Overtime opportunities, with double pay on Sundays and bank holidays.Company van (air-conditioned), smartphone, and specialist tools provided.Paid travel time and allowances.20–25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.Free, secure onsite parking.Opportunities for career development and progression within a growing company.ScheduleMonday to Friday.Occasional weekend availability (overtime offered).If you're a skilled and motivated Fire Suppression Engineer ready to join a growing team that values your expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
