SEO Technical Executive

Summit is a leading digital marketing agency who specialise in online retailing, and we have an exciting opportunity for a SEO Technical Executive to join us on a hybrid basis (2 days per week in our fantastic office) located near the beautiful Fruit Market and Marina area of Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.
We offer flexible start and finish times as well as having every other Friday off*. We trust our people to work flexibly around their lifestyle and family arrangements. Summiteers are asked to attend our office in the C4DI complex in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week, the rest of the week can be done from home. For the right candidate, we may also consider greater flexibility around office time.
About the Role
You'll be working with Client Managers to support clients’ technical SEO activity, helping to executing our strategy in line with client's objectives. You'll be tracking and reporting on performance according to relevant targets and KPIs along with investigating and troubleshooting with support where necessary. You'll be the point of contact and be in regular communication with clients, cultivating a positive and collaborative working relationship via email and phone, plus face-to-face meetings with support from the wider team. Some of the ways you'll contribute to the team is by:
 1. Managing, delivering to deadline and implement technical SEO marketing activities to meet our client’s performance goals
 2. Staying up to date with industry trends and best practice, identifying strategies that are applicable to our clients
 3. Information gathering on algorithm changes and understanding how this impacts our clients
 4. Monitoring results, analysing key site metrics and provide proactive recommendations
 5. Supporting Client Managers in analysing issues and opportunities, and implementing recommendations
 6. Assisting the wider team in maintaining strong communication with clients
 7. Contributing to regular client calls to discuss performance and actions
 8. Supporting Client Managers in ensuring the appropriate tactics are used to meet client goals
About You
With strong communication skills and knowledge and exposure to technical SEO activities, you will be required to manage and prioritise your own workload, with keen attention to detail and strong focus on objectives. You'll be self-motivated, willing to learn and improve with the ability to adapt to situations and works with teams effectively. Together with:
 9. At least 6 months experience within a similar role
 10. Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
 11. An aptitude for numbers to assist with learning of tracking and reporting processes
 12. Ability to analyse problems effectively and solve issues, considering the long-term impact and anticipating future consequences and trends
 13. Building relationships and networking internally and externally
 14. Analytical thinking; able to appraise and understand complex information with a critical eye
 15. Service orientated and dedicated to meeting requirements of internal and external stakeholders
