Learning Support Assistants & Behaviour Support Assistants – Specialist SEN School (ASD Focus)
A highly successful and rapidly expanding specialist school is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Behaviour Support Assistants to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking environment, working with pupils who are high-functioning and working towards independence, GCSEs, and vocational qualifications.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them to thrive both academically and socially. Working closely with teaching staff, you will provide tailored support, promote positive behaviour strategies, and contribute to a structured, nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD
* Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans
* Support behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation
* Encourage independence and life skills development
* Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
What We’re Looking For
* Essential: Experience working with children or young people with ASD
* A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
