We’re looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Operational Resilience & Continuity Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding the Society’s ability to deliver essential services. In an ever-evolving landscape, resilience is more than a buzzword—it’s a necessity. You’ll be at the forefront of developing and embedding robust frameworks for Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Third-Party & Outsourcing Management, ensuring the Society remains agile, compliant, and customer-focused through any challenge. In this role, you’ll take ownership of our operational resilience, business continuity, and third-party risk frameworks. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to ensure we’re not only prepared for disruption, but positioned to recover quickly and effectively when it happens. You’ll lead scenario testing exercises—ranging from desktop simulations to complex, real-world scenarios—ensuring that lessons are captured and turned into meaningful improvements. You’ll monitor key risk indicators, produce clear and insightful reports for senior leaders, and act as a trusted advisor on resilience matters. Beyond the technical responsibilities, you’ll play a key role in shaping our culture—embedding resilience thinking into everyday decision-making, simplifying processes, and supporting smarter, more agile ways of working.
