Marketing Lead Generator Location : Peterborough Hours : Monday to Friday Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Lead Generator to support our clients marketing agencys growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients. This role focuses on building strong prospect pipelines, initiating outreach, and creating opportunities for the sales team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in communication, and skilled at researching and connecting with decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Lead Research & Identification Research and identify potential clients using online tools, databases, social platforms, and industry sources. Build and maintain targeted prospect lists aligned with agency services and ideal customer profiles. Monitor market trends to identify new business opportunities. Outreach & Engagement Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other channels. Initiate conversations with decision-makers and introduce agency services. Nurture early-stage prospects through consistent follow-ups. Lead Qualification Assess prospects based on budget, needs, authority, and timeline. Schedule discovery meetings and hand off qualified leads to the sales team. Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM systems. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align on campaigns and targeting strategies. Track KPIs such as outreach activity, response rates, and qualified leads generated. Provide regular performance reports and insights. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in lead generation, sales development, or business development (agency experience preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to research target markets effectively. Familiarity with CRM systems and prospecting tools. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with B2B marketing or digital marketing services. Knowledge of outbound automation tools and LinkedIn prospecting. Understanding of sales funnels and customer journey stages.
