This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable classroom experience. About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for managing a classroom during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning. You’ll deliver pre-set work, maintain a positive learning environment, and support pupils in following school routines and expectations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes across a range of subjects Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning space Provide support and encouragement to students Report back to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour Requirements: Experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to engage and motivate students A proactive and flexible approach to work Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
