Electrical Installation Engineer Hinckley Up to 45k About the Role My client are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer / Control Panel Electrician to join their team. The successful candidate will have proven experience working on industrial sites, building and installing control panels, and carrying out electrical installation tasks to a high standard. This role will involve both workshop and site-based work, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Build, wire, and test industrial control panels in accordance with electrical drawings and specifications. Install control panels, mains supplies, 24V DC systems, communication cables, and cable containment systems on industrial sites. Carry out wiring and installation of motors, sensors, and related industrial equipment. Install, terminate, and test various types of cables, including power, control, and data cables. Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering documents. Work to strict health and safety guidelines while on-site and in the workshop. Conduct fault finding, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification. Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within an industrial environment. Proven experience with: Control panel build and installation. Mains distribution and 24V DC systems. Communication cable installation and termination. Cable containment systems (trays, trunking, conduit, etc.). Wiring of motors, sensors, and associated control equipment. Strong understanding of electrical principles and safe working practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Full UK driving licence (preferred). ECS/CSCS card (advantageous). Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 17th/18th Edition).
