The Role
The company is seeking a hands-on Senior User Acquisition & Growth Manager to own paid growth and scalable customer acquisition for its flagship mobile app.
This is a performance-led position focused on driving installs, trial starts, and paid subscription growth through paid social, UGC-led campaigns, and rapid creative testing.
This is not a brand or CRM role. The successful candidate will be a commercially minded operator who is comfortable working directly within ad platforms, testing creatives at pace, and optimising the full mobile app funnel from ad click through to paid conversion.
The role works closely with product, content, and leadership teams to ensure acquisition strategy aligns with brand positioning, onboarding experience, and long-term retention goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and scale paid acquisition across TikTok and Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
* Plan, launch, and optimise performance campaigns focused on installs and subscription conversion
* Develop and execute a UGC-first growth strategy, including Spark Ads and whitelisting campaigns
* Brief and manage creators, agencies, and internal teams to produce and test high-performing ad creatives
* Continuously test new hooks, messaging angles, and creative formats to improve CAC and ROAS
* Analyse the full funnel (Ad → Install → Trial → Paid) and identify optimisation opportunities
* Collaborate with product teams on onboarding flows, paywall timing, and conversion improvements
* Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven budget allocation and scaling decisions
* Build and maintain a structured creative testing roadmap
* Track and report on key growth metrics including CPI, CAC, LTV, retention, and subscription conversion rates
* Deliver clear performance reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership
Required Experience & Skills
* Hands-on experience in User Acquisition or Performance Growth for mobile apps
* Proven track record managing paid campaigns on TikTok and Meta Ads Manager
* Strong understanding of UGC-led advertising, Spark Ads, and creator whitelisting strategies
* Experience scaling subscription-based or consumer app growth (beyond eCommerce)
* Deep understanding of mobile app funnels and conversion optimisation
* Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
* High level of ownership and ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment
* Strong commercial awareness and focus on measurable growth outcomes
Desirable Experience
* Experience in wellness, lifestyle, femtech, or consumer subscription apps
* Experience launching or scaling an early-stage app
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on growth operator rather than a purely strategic marketer. They will have personally managed paid social budgets, tested creatives at scale, and delivered measurable user acquisition growth for mobile apps.
