Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Full time shift including working every other weekend and a day off in the week. Gifts Department Assistant responsibilities Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance Experience in merchandising would be an advantage. Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently Working to deadlines and managing time effectively Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre Excellent standard of housekeeping is established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines Ensure personal compliance with Whitehalls H&S guideline Packing of goods is carried out in a professional manner taking care not to damage items. Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties Trolleys and baskets always available Assisting in booking in stock deliveries, putting out stock, and pricing.
