What Will Your Day Look Like?
* Develop road and sewer designs with the approving bodies to solve all associated engineering issues.
* Prepare/coordinate detailed Section 38 and Section 104 designs.
* Prepare/coordinate external levels drawings and private drainage drawings.
* Brief and manage the Foundation Design Consultant.
* Assemble and deliver the civil engineering package.
* Obtain Section 38 and Section 104 approvals.
* Obtain foundation design approvals.
* Complete Section 38 and Section 104 agreements.
* Discharge engineering‑related and building‑related issues.
* Assist in the discharge of engineering‑related planning conditions.
* Arrange for Section 38 and Section 104 maintenance inspections and bond releases.
What You'll Need To Succeed
* Experience working for a house builder or consultancy.
* Production of engineering designs.
* HNC in Civil Engineering Studies or similar.
* Extensive knowledge of Section 38, 104 and 278 agreements.
* Knowledge and application of:
o Ability to work in a multi-functional team.
o Highway design standards.
o Sewers for adoption.
o Building Regs Part H & BS8301.
o PDS design software.
o Microdrainage design software.
* AutoCAD proficiency.
