Warehouse & Logistics Manager up to £50,000 per annum Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Burton Upon Trent | Driver due to location Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm | 40 hours per week Benefits: Performance-based bonuses, 25 Days Bank Holiday, Pension, Free on-site parking An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Lead to join a growing manufacturing business. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, transport coordination, customer despatch, and invoicing activities. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop warehouse, stores, goods-in, packing, and despatch teams. Drive stock accuracy, inventory control, and warehouse efficiency. Manage goods receipt, material movements, and inventory transactions through ERP/MRP systems. Oversee production picking and kitting activities to support operational requirements. Coordinate domestic and international logistics and transport activities. Ensure customer orders are packed, documented, and delivered on time. Manage relationships with freight providers, couriers, and logistics partners. Support invoicing processes through accurate despatch documentation. Maintain compliance with quality, traceability, and regulatory requirements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations. Produce performance metrics and contribute to operational leadership meetings. About You We are looking for a proactive and organised logistics professional with: Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, stores, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations. Experience managing goods-in, despatch, transport coordination, and material traceability. Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes. Knowledge of FIFO, batch control, shelf-life management, and material handling best practices. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. A hands-on approach with a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
