The Role This is a full-time teaching position within a well-established and supportive Design and Technology department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to mixed ability groups across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. At Key Stage 3, students follow a broad and practical introduction to all areas of Design and Technology, with this role focusing on developing foundational skills in a range of materials. From Year 10 onwards, pupils choose between BTEC Design and Technology or GCSE Product Design, and the post-holder will be responsible for teaching both pathways, with an emphasis on resistant materials.
