We’re seeking an inspiring CDIO to drive a bold, organisation‑wide digital and data strategy. One that supports our New Hospital Programme and strengthens services across Bradford, District and Craven Place.


In This Pivotal Role, You Will

Main duties of the job

Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has a reputation for working collaboratively with partners in the local economy as part of an integrated care system, building on links with community, primary and tertiary care, local authority and voluntary sectors to deliver an end to end, bespoke service centred on our patients and service users. This strategy requires directors to be influential leaders within the Trust and in the wider health economy. Qualifications & Training


Essential criteria

* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
* Post graduate qualification in a health or leadership related subject.
* Member of a relevant professional body
* Evidence of sustained personal and professional development.


Desirable criteria

* Certified Healthcare CIO (CHIME)


Experience


Essential criteria

* Significant experience in large and complex organisations
* Experience of working at Board level
* Has led business intelligence and digital functions in health.
* Demonstrable ability to devise policy and strategy.
* Good understanding of the NHS and the national technology strategies and involvement in the production of local (organisation) or sector wide strategies.
* Demonstrable success in delivering change and performance with and through your management and clinical teams.
* Experience of the negotiation and management of high value hardware, software, and service contracts with major suppliers.
* Strong experience of staff and financial management
* Interpreting and providing context to data and present information in reports.
* Engaging stakeholders to agree and manage digital and data requirements.
* Developing and maintaining contact networks within the local and National Health Economy
* Deep understanding of performance management and NHS performance requirements
* Has an exceptional understanding of national data flows and opportunities.
