Electrical & Instrumentation Manager £60,000 - £80,000 Per Annum Benefits Permanent, Full Time West Midlands 8:45am – 4:30pm Job ID: 41644 We have partnered with a leading independent industrial processing and manufacturing company in the heart of the west midlands who are currently recruiting for an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager to lead their highly-skilled electrical and instrumentation teams. Electrical & Instrumentation Manager Key Responsibilities Managing & leading a team of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers, as well as contractors (where applicable) Taking ownership of the design, specification and installation of electrical and instrumentation project work, namely the introduction of new equipment Managing project budgets Taking responsibility development, deployment and operation of all electrical and instrumentation maintenance systems & procedures Electrical & Instrumentation Manager Skills/Experience Qualified to HNC/HND level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Systems as a minimum Sound understanding of ATEX, COMAH or high-hazardous classification areas Ideally 5 years in a supervisory/management capacity within an electrical engineering, automation or instrumentation background An understanding of functional safety within an industrial, process driven environment Expert knowledge in PLC & HMI programming Electrical & Instrumentation Manager Benefits 25 days annual leave bank holidays Life assurance cover sick pay Stakeholder pension scheme Medical cash benefit plan EAP Please note that full and permanent right to work in the UK is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
