English Teacher (QTS) – Southampton
Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced and committed Qualified English Teacher to join a secondary school in Southampton to cover a period of staff absence. The role begins Monday 13th April and is expected to run for approximately ten weeks, covering the summer term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated English specialist who can step confidently into a full‑time timetable, deliver strong lessons, and support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will take on full teacher responsibilities including planning, marking, assessment and departmental participation.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essentialStrong subject knowledge in English Language & LiteratureExperience teaching KS3 & KS4Confident with planning and markingA reliable and adaptable classroom practitionerSomeone ready to start 13th April and commit to the full 10‑week periodContract Details:
