Overview
Nightshift Security Officer position at Corps Security. 42 hours per week, 4 on/4 off night shift from 18:00 to 06:00, based in Warwickshire. This role involves providing a secure environment for all staff and visitors, applying access control procedures, site inductions, patrols, and other duties as determined by Assignment Instructions. In case of an emergency, follow escalation/communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services.
Base pay

Responsibilities
* Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carry out regular site patrols, and record patrols as required by Corps and the customer.
* Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site.
* Record entry and exit of deliveries, including processing paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
* Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out-of-hours security provision if applicable.
* Comply with site waste management procedures.
* Complete documents such as daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records, and any site-specific reports.
* Familiarize yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advise the Duty Manager and/or client personnel on changes or recommendations to improve.
* Maintain your training records via Corps Colleague Portal and ensure first aid and fire marshal training meet legislative guidelines.
* Apply SIA skills to maintain a high level of professionalism; display your SIA licence at all times.
* Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
What you will need
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front-Line License – essential.
* A Full UK Manual Driving License – essential.
* Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel).
* Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards.

* Complete required documentation including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records, and site reports.
* Be familiar with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other safety documents; advise on changes to improve.
* Keep training records up to date, including first aid and fire marshal training per guidelines.
* Maintain professionalism and ensure SIA licence is always displayed.
* Perform any ad hoc duties as directed.
