Intirim Accountant FTC (6-9 months)
Location: Henfield
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Hours: 08.30-17.30 (Initially for training the flexibility after training)
Our client is looking for an Accountant for 6-9 months with experience dealing with global entites. You will be reporting to the Group Finance Director. The role will include supporting the shared-service and financial accounting team through the interim and year-end audit period. Must be available immediately!
What You'll Do:
As their Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their financial operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing accurate financial statements and reports
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Conducting monthly reconciliations and variance analysis
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
Supporting the year-end audit process
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance
Identifying opportunities for process improvementsWhat They're Looking For:
A cheerful, detail-oriented professional who is ready to bring their expertise to our team. The ideal candidate will have:
A relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or QBE)
Proven experience in an accounting role
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
