Overview
West Kent Primary Care is seeking to employ a Pharmacy Technician as Maternity Cover on a Fixed Term contract for initially 9 months, with a potential to extend. This role will be based with Tunbridge Wells Primary Care Network (PCN) to support their team of technicians and work with one or two of their eight member practices. The post holder will work with practice prescribing teams to support effective medication use through conversations with patients and Primary Care colleagues. The post holder will support the Clinical Pharmacists to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient medicine management systems. This will include repeat prescribing, medicines optimisation, reducing medicines waste and maximising patient outcomes and undertaking searches and audits to improve with quality of services provided.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient medicine management systems, including repeat prescribing and medicines optimisation.
* Work with practice prescribing teams and Clinical Pharmacists to improve patient outcomes through conversations with patients and Primary Care colleagues.
* Undertake searches and audits to improve quality of services provided.

* Due to the geographical location and travel required for the role, it would be beneficial to have a full driving license.
