We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Application Support Specialist with a strong background in Tissue/Cellular Pathology, Histology, or Histopathology. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridisation (ISH), who are passionate about delivering exceptional support and training to both internal and external stakeholders.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert application, technical, and scientific support to customers and internal teams
* Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to case resolution
* Develop and implement sustainable solutions for technical support cases
* Deliver comprehensive customer training sessions, both remotely and on-site
* Conduct on-site support activities, including troubleshooting and workflow optimization
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance
🧬 Required Expertise
* Strong foundation in Tissue/Cellular Pathology, Histology, or Histopathology
* Practical experience with IHC and ISH techniques
* Familiarity with automated staining platforms such as:
* Benchmark Ultra / Ultra Plus / XT
* Bond
* DAKO
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple support cases simultaneously
* Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset
