Permanent, full time 37.5 hpw, 3 days on rota and 2 days on admin
[Pay is based on local RAP salaries pre agreed locally]

Join us in this great and rewarding job, as our Positive Behavioural Support team Leader. You’ll manage our team to provide person-centred and strengths-based support to our customer (let's call them M) and help them reach their full potential.
M enjoys going out and is very social, He likes spurs, going for lunch and bowling. M needs support to maintain his independence and meaningful relationships with family and the community
What you'll do
1. You’ll manage a team of PBS Support Workers centred around a customer with complex presentation.
2. You and your team will support customers with any aspect of their day-to-day living. You’ll work in a person-centred, strengths-based and psychologically informed way, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life
3. You’ll be in regular contact with your manager updating, escalating and reporting on all aspects of the service delivery.
4. You’ll be responsible for planning and overseeing complex support working with customers who display behaviours of concern and may require personal care working alongside Home Group’s local multi-disciplinary team
5. Motivating, directing, guiding, coaching and supporting your team to work with our customers.

You have
6. Experience in CQC Regulated services, a Level 4 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent or prepared to work towards it.
7. Worked as a Senior Support Worker, leading support for people with complex needs, or behaviours of distress.
8. A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to X's needs, as well as to the specific occasion and circumstances, even when they challenges us.
9. Great people management and motivation skills, bringing colleagues together to share information, best practice and fostering creativity.
10. Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
11. To help M get out and about, you’ll need to be able to drive Ms vehicle.
The practical bits
12. 22.5 hours on rota working with MV and 15 hours of admin a week. Sleep ins and on-call rota required
13. Able to use technology to update create and update support plans, communicate with colleagues and complete online learning.
14. You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
