We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking assistant opportunities manager to join our established consult work winning team in London. The role is to learn, understand, develop and implement processes described within Mace standards including how the information is produced and assured.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Reviewing, identifying, and track opportunities that Mace consult may wish to bid using the opportunities team inboxes.
* Managing Mace's registration on client tender portals and accreditation portals.
* Distributing, tracking and closing out opportunities, working with the relevant part of the Mace consult business.
* Executing the opportunities information management function to defined strategy, plans and processes and in line with standards, ensuring that documents and project artefacts are to standard, labelled and filled appropriately.
* Following IM processes effectively and efficiently and adhere to standards for opportunities management.
* Contributing to making the work winning function effectively and efficiently such that colleagues can access information they need.
* Supporting and guiding colleagues in IM practices and processes.
* Identifying and supporting relationships with external (to Mace) stakeholders.
* Supporting the assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.
You’ll need to have:
* Information management experience across similar projects/deployments including knowledge of information architecture, naming, numbering and filing.
* You have good competence in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
* Able to quickly analyse and understand complex information issued by clients as part of tender processes.
* Security, cyber security and data protection awareness.
* Good written and oral communication.
* You are an effective negotiator.
* Stakeholder management experience at all levels.
* Ability to focus on what is essential rather than what is optimal for expedient delivery.
* Effective team member and are able to help/train others.
* Able to work independently.
* You are organised and able to organise others, seek clarity, set and manage boundaries.
You’ll also have:
* Technical qualifications and certifications such as APM IM from the Association of Information Managers.
* Knowledge of IM software including Aconex, ViewPoint, Business Collaborator, SharePoint, etc.
* Construction, property, and real estate industry experience.
* Experience working in an international setting either remotely from or outside the UK.
