Responsibilities:
6. Manage a high volume of incoming calls, ensuring customer satisfaction
7. Understand and assess customers' needs, providing appropriate solutions
8. Build and nurture strong customer relationships through effective communication
9. Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
10. Promptly communicate any service issues to customers
11. Maintain a complaints log, taking necessary corrective actions
12. Organise and file sales paperwork
13. Collaborate with shipping agents to facilitate smooth order transactions and deliveries
14. Keep the sales and warehouse teams informed of purchase order ETA's
15. Arrange timely shipments of European sales orders
16. Coordinate with the warehouse department to ensure timely product preparation
17. Update the sales team on any issues and provide daily updates on received goods
18. Ensure shipments comply with relevant regulations
19. Organise and file all purchase and customs clearance paperwork
20. Prepare and update shipping reports to track important dates and documentation
21. Provide customs clearance and delivery instructions to clearance agents and couriers
22. Communicate daily export collections to the warehouse
23. Update export documentation to meet regulatory requirements, including Brexit-related changes
24. Prepare necessary documents such as Certificates of Origin and EUR1's
25. Ensure products are dispatched with correct ADR documentation and labelling
26. Oversee sample requests and communicate approvals to relevant departments
Essential Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:
27. Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening ability
28. Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to different personalities
29. Strong multitasking, prioritisation, and time management abilities
30. Experience in using a wide range of relevant IT packages
31. Proven customer support experience
32. Knowledge of shipping, imports and exports, and customs procedures
