The Role:


We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Client Services to lead and grow our client services function.


This is a senior leadership role responsible for nurturing key client relationships, driving account growth, overseeing campaign delivery standards, and ensuring the agency consistently meets commercial and performance targets.


You’ll lead, mentor and develop the Client Services team, setting clear standards for briefing, planning, cost management and communication.


You’ll work closely with Strategy, Creative and Production leads to ensure client challenges are clearly defined, solutions are commercially viable, and work is delivered to a high standard.


You’ll also play a central role in new business, pitches and agency growth, helping to identify opportunities, shape proposals and present compelling solutions to prospective clients.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Leadership & Account Growth.


* Own senior client relationships and act as a trusted commercial partner
* Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and expand agency services
* Ensure client satisfaction, retention and long-term partnerships
* Lead key client meetings and performance reviews


Client Services Team Leadership.


* Lead, mentor and develop the Client Services team across all levels
* Set and maintain high standards for briefing, timing plans and cost estimates
* Ensure consistent, professional communication across all client touchpoints
* Support career development and performance management


Campaign & Delivery Oversight


* Oversee campaign delivery across accounts, ensuring work is on brief, on time and commercially sound
* Ensure briefs are clear, insightful and aligned to client business objectives
* Support teams in resolving delivery challenges and resource pressures
* Work closely with Production to ensure realistic schedules and budgets


Commercial & Operational Responsibility.


* Own revenue and profitability performance across accounts, with responsibility for forecasting, pipeline and retention targets
* Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting and commercial reporting across accounts
* Contribute to agency planning and resource allocation at leadership level


New Business & Agency Growth.


* Lead and support new business enquiries, proposals and pitch processes
* Help define client problems and shape strategic, creative and production-led solutions with senior stakeholders
* Present confidently to prospective clients and partners
* Build and maintain a strong industry network to support agency growth

You’re a commercially minded leader who understands both the relationship and delivery sides of agency life. You know how to build trust with clients, inspire teams, and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.


You’re confident operating at senior stakeholder level, comfortable making decisions, and able to translate experience into practical action; improving processes, raising standards and supporting teams to do their best work.


You’re collaborative by nature, enjoy working across disciplines, and believe that great client service and great creative work go hand in hand. You’re motivated by building strong teams, growing accounts and helping shape the future of the agency.


Required Experience & Skills:


* Senior client services or account leadership experience within an agency environment
* Proven track record of growing accounts and managing key client relationships
* Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting and profitability
* Experience leading and developing client services teams
* Confident in briefing, planning and overseeing multi-channel campaigns
* Strong presentation and pitch experience
* Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability
