The role
The role of Assistant Accommodation Manager will include:
Ensuring that a high-quality service is delivered and meets customer expectationsReporting maintenance issues and liaising with relevant individuals to ensure repairs are completed and customers informedEnsuring property inspections, health and safety and compliance checks are completed in line with legislation and policySupervising a General Assistant and Caretaker, providing guidance, support and promoting the development of staffAssisting the Accommodation Manager with the debt recovery processDeveloping and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customersWorking with the wider team on monthly checks of buildings, raising repairs ensuring these are completed, completing inspections on void rooms, and carrying out health and safety checksComplaints management and raising purchase ordersSkills and experiences:
Experience in a similar role supporting the delivery of high-quality accommodation or customer service is essentialNVQ3 in relevant area (e.g., business administration, customer service) is desirableSome experience of providing administrative support services and using a residential booking systemExperience of managing staff within a customer facing environmentWorking knowledge of working to deadlines and prioritising work loadsExcellent communication and customer service skillsPrevious experience of Microsoft Office applications including Word and ExcelWhy work for us?
