MBNL keeps Digital Britain connected. As the UK's largest network‑sharing joint venture, we're transforming how mobile infrastructure is maintained, optimised, and assured.
We're looking for a Reactive Maintenance Lead to take ownership of triage, prioritisation, and workflow optimisation across our reactive maintenance programme. You'll ensure the right issues go to the right teams at the right time—protecting service levels, reducing unnecessary spend, and improving asset reliability across our national estate.
What the Reactive Maintenance Lead will do:
• Triage and prioritise incoming maintenance tickets using risk‑based judgement
• Allocate work to the correct resolving agents and optimise job bundling
• Identify warranty and defect liability opportunities to avoid unnecessary spend
• Analyse failure trends and feed insights into planned maintenance strategy
• Develop and refine automation logic to streamline triage and allocation
• Monitor KPIs, track performance, and support continuous improvement
The successful Reactive Maintenance Lead will have:
• Experience in engineering, maintenance, or operations
• Strong incident triage and risk‑based prioritisation skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret trends and failure modes
• Understanding of warranties, defect liability, and commercial obligations
• Experience with low/no‑code workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate, ServiceNow)
• Confident communicator able to influence suppliers and internal teams
This role is key to optimising reactive maintenance, reducing asset risk, and driving smarter, more efficient ways of working across our network.
