Overview
The post holder is responsible for supporting both the nursing and medical staff in the care and treatment of patients/clients attending Brook sexual health services. The role blends clinical and administrative responsibilities, recognising the importance of both elements in the smooth running of the service. The post holder works under the supervision of Registered Nurses/Midwives in the delivery of patient care to a defined patient/client group and will at all times work within the boundaries of their existing and developing skills.
Responsibilities
* Support nursing and medical staff in caring for patients/clients at Brook sexual health services
* Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the service through clinical and administrative duties
* Work under supervision of Registered Nurses/Midwives in the delivery of patient care
* Operate within the candidate’s current and developing scope of practice
Qualifications
* Experience of working in a healthcare setting
* Excellent communication skills
* IT competency skills
