The Role
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person, action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine and developed exclusively for the new generation of consoles and PC, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora offers an immersive, open-world experience that captures the beauty and danger of Pandora.
As an Environment Artist, you are passionate about creating compelling worlds for players. You have a keen eye for scale, perspective, and detail, and enjoy bringing stories to life through environment creation. You thrive on research, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement of your work.
This role offers the chance to be part of a successful team working on one of the largest film franchises. Collaboration and communication are key, and you will contribute to the project’s vision through your environment art, inspired by the narrative and design.
What you'll bring
* Ability to create detailed, visually appealing environments
* A portfolio demonstrating worldbuilding and environment art skills, including game-ready environments based on concept art and level design
* Proficiency with industry-standard 3D modeling tools (e.g., 3DS Max, Maya, Blender)
* Knowledge of level editors and Physically Based Rendering systems
* Understanding of optimization techniques
* Ability to adapt to new processes and pipelines
