The Role

We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team and grow into a specialist in EHV/HV substation design. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gain hands-on project experience from day one, and receive structured training to build your expertise in substations from 11kV to 132kV.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the design of substations for transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and storage projects.
* Support feasibility studies, technical specifications, and design reviews.
* Prepare scheme drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver safe and high-quality solutions.
* Take part in ongoing mentoring and professional development.

The Person
* Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
* Strong interest in power systems and substation design
* Clear communication skills and a logical approach to problem-solving
* IT literate with familiarity in engineering software
* Eligible to work in the UK, fluent in English, and hold a full UK driving licence
