Job Title: RE (Religious Education) Teacher Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Are you someone who can inspire students to explore beliefs, values, and ethical questions with confidence? GSL Education are partnering with schools across Sheffield, including the S2 and S3 areas, to appoint a knowledgeable and engaging RE Teacher who can deliver thought-provoking lessons. As an RE (Religious Education) Teacher, you will foster respect for diverse perspectives while helping students develop critical thinking, reflection, and understanding of religious and ethical issues. In the role of RE Teacher, you will: Deliver well-structured and engaging RE lessons. Encourage students to explore moral, cultural, and philosophical questions. Provide constructive feedback to support student progress. Maintain a calm, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Monitor pupil learning and keep accurate assessment records. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Proven experience in a school setting. Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
