Job Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive communication and marketing strategies to enhance the council's public image.
* Coordinate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
* Manage social media channels and digital marketing campaigns to engage with the community effectively.
* Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, press releases, and newsletters.
* Analyze market trends and audience insights to inform marketing strategies.
* Organise and manage events to promote the council's initiatives and services.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication and marketing efforts.
Person Specifications
Must Have
* Proven experience in a communications or marketing role.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
