We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee within one of our branches based within West Sussex for a fixed term of 6 months, with a possibility to extend. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in care. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide high-quality care to residents.
*Duties*
* To provide leadership, administration, care, and people management functions and if the services are provided, the catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance functions.
* To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing and selling our services at the agreed prices.
* To maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed and within the financial budget or other parameters set.
* To maintain care and management skills at the current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
* To manage the services in accordance with our standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practices
*Qualifications*
* NVQ Level 5 OR working towards.
* Managers are required by the regulations to have the 'necessary qualifications, skills and experience' to carry out the regulated activity. Skills for Care advise that the current, relevant qualification is the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services choosing the pathway;
* Management of Adult Services or Management of Adult Residential Services
* Managers taking the Level 5 Diploma should use the full breadth of QCF units available to ensure they achieve a qualification that is relevant to the role they are carrying out.
* Full UK driving license, use of a reliable, clean car with valid MOT which must be insured for business use.
