This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Band 6 Physiotherapist using specialist clinical skills and clinical reasoning to provide a high quality Physiotherapy Falls service. The primary role is to work within the falls pathway across acute and community. The post holder will support patients who are at risk of falling or who have already fallen to reduce their risk by improving strength, balance and flexibility through specialised intervention and home hazard assessments. There is an expectation to support the service to develop through reflective practice, clinical supervision and audit. There will be opportunities to allow you to develop a wide range of clinical, teaching and supervision skills. You will also work closely with the other team members and share responsibility for managing band 5, support staff and students. This post includes aspects of community work, so post holder will be required to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes. You will be required to participate in 7 day working rotas as required.
