The Role
As part of the Stallingborough Planning Team, you will oversee work preparation and tool/parts allocation to support safe, quality, and cost-effective production.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Prioritize work requests in coordination with the production gatekeeper.
* Allocate resources including time, tools, services, equipment, and parts.
* Create and issue work packages for scheduling.
* Gather feedback post-execution for continuous improvement.
* Monitor overdue maintenance and inspections.
* Participate in maintenance strategy and procedural improvements.
* Update maintenance budget plans.
* Manage area backlog with schedulers/coordinators.
* Create PRs for maintenance parts, materials, and services to maximize value.
* Contribute to procurement strategies and manage contracts.
About You
You are motivated, talented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and experience working with Trade Teams, Engineers, Procurement, Stores, and Operations. Ideally, you possess:
* Mechanical maintenance experience with the ability to modify Maintenance Instructions.
* High safety awareness.
* Experience with planning software such as MS Project, Primavera, MS Office, Lotus Notes, and SAP PM/Prometheus.
* Mechanical Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds, HNC/HND).
* Experience with rotating equipment overhaul (pumps, fans, compressors).
* Pipe fabrication and welding experience.
* A desire for personal development and career growth.
* A methodical, structured approach to problem-solving.
* Teamwork and good communication skills.
* Knowledge of work planning, scheduling, and purchasing.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
