We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
* Collaborate with team members to create innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard before serving.
* Manage kitchen workflow efficiently during peak service times.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant environment.
* Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
* Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
