About the Role
As aWorkshop Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high quality servicing, maintenance, and repairs within a busy workshop environment. Working both independently and alongside other technicians, you will help ensure customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out a wide range of service and repair work efficiently and to the highest standards
* Diagnose faults and provide practical, cost 'effective technical solutions
* Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
* Maintain a clean, organised working area to support a professional workshop image
* Attend occasional onsite jobs as required
Essential Skills & Experience
* Qualified mechanic or time served technician
* Experience working with special purpose vehicles (e.g., plant equipment, cranes, forklifts)
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is advantageous
* Strong customer focus and commitment to quality
* Understanding of diesel and electric engines
* A reasonably clean driving licence
* Candidates with HGV, forklift, or mobile plant backgrounds are strongly encouraged to applyyour skills transfer seamlessly to aWorkshop Technicianrole
