Deliveries of caged goods on wheels, generally about 10 drops per shift, out of hours restocking of stores. Position: HGV Class 2 Driver Days: 5 on 3 off Start time: Days- 13:00-15:00 or Nights 22:00-00:30 Start date: ASAP Location: Salisbury Pay Rate: £16.25 (basic) - £18.21 (nights). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay. As a HGV Driver you MUST have: a valid UK HGV driving licence a valid CPC and digital tachograph card no more than 6 penalty points (SP & TS offences only) your own transport to get to and from work As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers Benefits: minimum of 8 hours daily pay PAYE (weekly) generous referral scheme temp-perm opportunities free CPC training workplace pension This position is commutable from Andover, Southampton, Bournemouth and other areas close to Salisbury.
