Description We require a Project Manager, to be part of the Costain Reinstatement team to develop and deliver the Mains Replacement Programme, ensuring all works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, compliance, customer excellence and commercial control. Maximise the customer experience service ensuring Cadent’s customer commitments are met and customer initiatives are always a high priority. Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders ensuring the client and parent organisations’ reputation is maintained. This role will be based full time on site LI-AW1 Responsibilities Con sistently demonstrate, promote and develop high standards of safety behaviour, leading by example. Carry out site inspections to ensure quality of reinstatement on completed and in progress work. Complete Team inspections to comply with Costain reinstatement minimum standards. Investigate and manage reinstatement defects to completion in your geographical area. Manage the Reinstatement performance of the supply chain to ensure key contract objectives are delivered (PSR D3 & D5 plus public open hole performance. Monitor the LDP Reinstatement teams ensuring the highest standard of customer service and safety standards are delivered, providing assurance though audit and inspection, taking appropriate action to address areas of improvement Support the Area Manager in identifying areas for improvement, leading on initiatives as appropriate Maximise staff engagement through actively contributing at team talks, address staff issues, identifying development needs, deliver as appropriate toolbox talks, safety briefings and team briefs Investigate and resolve customer queries once escalated, claims and complaints in an expedient and professional manner Undertake or assist with incident reporting, investigations, submission of final reports as well as close out of remedial actions Continually monitor operative’s performance and foster a culture of team working and safety, creating a culture of zero tolerance of safety and compliance breaches and working towards Injury Free Environment Carry out any other reasonable duties appropriate for the role Qualifications General Experience: Previous gas supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential Ability to manage a supply chain, influence and drive performance Site management experience High standards of safety and customer behaviour, leading by example, promoting safety and customer culture Working knowledge of relevant codes of practice, safety and statutory regulations Experience in delivering works in a safe and compliant manner Good communications skills required (written and verbal) Experience in operations relevant to SROH procedures Current UK driving licence Analytical and problem-solving skill Qualifications required for role (development will be provided to attain these) NSWRA Supervisor Qualification SMSTS EUSR SHEA Gas Training SHEA Gas
