As the Maintenance Manager at Parkdean Resorts, you’ll lead the dedicated individuals who ensure our parks operate safely and look fantastic. With your people-first approach, you’ll cultivate a culture where your team feels supported, motivated, and proud of their contributions.
What You Will Be Doing...
* Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of maintenance professionals.
* Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust, and continuous improvement.
* Conducting regular 1:1s and team briefings to keep your team engaged and efficient.
* Collaborating with the park leadership team to ensure maintenance supports a seamless guest experience by promptly addressing all maintenance issues.
* Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of all park facilities, accommodation units, infrastructure, and grounds.
* Ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
* Managing the maintenance budget, including labor costs, stock levels, and procurement of materials and equipment.
* Maintaining accurate records of all works and compliance checks.
* Liaising with and managing external contractors to ensure work meets health and safety policies and high standards.
* Ensuring full compliance with all statutory and company health and safety regulations, supporting regular audits.
* Leading on fire safety, legionella testing, electrical and gas inspections, and other key compliance areas.
* Recruiting, onboarding, and training new colleagues to meet resource plans.
* Ensuring the safe moving and siting of holiday homes.
About You...
* Previous experience managing a team in a maintenance or facilities management environment.
* Organized, proactive, and calm under pressure.
* A high level of emotional intelligence with a development and culture-focused leadership style.
* Excellent knowledge of maintenance, grounds, compliance, and health and safety regulations.
* Good IT literacy.
* The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
* Full UK driving license.
