Product Manager - Perm- Insurance Transformation
A global insurance firm is embarking on an innovative transformation to transition into a scaled agile environment, revolutionising product lines and services into a product-focused delivery function.
They are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join their forward-thinking transformation team. This pivotal role entails transforming an MVP product into a scaled, robust omni-channel service for their customers. Working closely with a Scrum Master, you will support the implementation of a scaled agile framework and assist the business in the early stages of this transformation.
You will ensure the team adheres to agreed practices and processes, advocating for a dynamic and adaptive approach to product management. Your influence will be crucial in shaping operational effectiveness and supporting strategic objectives.
Location: 2 days per week at the Kent Office
Salary: £85,000 + bonus
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate to gather and prioritise product requirements, building a roadmap to achieve the vision.
2. Lead agile product delivery, prioritising the backlog and tasks, and managing the flow of work.
3. Manage detailed sprint tasks and keep teams on track to deliver.
4. Communicate the product roadmap to stakeholders.
5. Work with Product Owners to monitor product performance and refine features.
6. Lead sprint planning and agile ceremonies for cross-functional teams.
7. Facilitate improvement sessions to enhance efficiency and value delivery.
8. Align teams and vendors on objectives and priorities.
9. Collaborate to remove impediments and track objectives.
10. Bridge technical and business capabilities in digital product design and delivery.
11. Coach and mentor team members to drive best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Experience & Skills:
12. Must have experience with Insurance and understand claims processes
13. Senior experience in Product Management
14. Experience supporting transformation projects (Digital context added bonus)
15. Experience delivering complex change.
16. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels.
17. Strong organisational and planning abilities.
18. Decisive, with a willingness to take responsibility.
19. Experience managing direct reports and matrix teams, including offshore resources.
