Marketing and Communications Specialist
Whytematter are excited to be recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Specialist for their client who is based in Titanic Quarter, Belfast. This role will require someone who is office based (may have slight flexibility).
The main duties of the role is to provide comprehensive, pro-active and professional marketing and communications support on behalf of the Company and its activities.
Key Tasks;
· To formulate the Company’s marketing, public relations, media and communications strategies and action plan.
· To implement the Company’s marketing, public relations, media and communications strategies, working in conjunction with colleagues and external providers.
· Utilising external support where necessary, to develop and produce the Company’s marketing, communication materials and press releases, to budget and deadlines.
· Management of the Company’s social media accounts to ensure maximum reach and awareness.
· To maintain the Company’s website, ensuring it remains relevant and fit for purpose.
· Developing and maintaining project specific image libraries for multimedia purposes.
· Creating and modifying multimedia presentations including use of images and project specific graphics.
· Set-up and use of audio/visual equipment for presentations etc.
· Planning and management of events within the Titanic Quarter estate.
· Preparation of marketing reports for key stakeholders, including the Board and funders.
· Any other duties as required.
Essential Criteria
· 3rd level qualification in a communications, marketing, public relations or other relevant discipline.
· Experience must include both digital and non-digital marketing methods.
· Experience of developing, managing and implementing effective marketing and communication projects.
· Experience of copywriting and proofreading.
· Experience of collateral/marketing material production and distribution.
· Excellent IT skills, including experience of using social media and websites in a business environment.
Desirable Criteria
· Experience of working in or with a marketing related agency – PR / Design / Advertising / Digital.
· Minimum two years of proven experience in a professional marketing and communications environment working on specific campaigns.
· Experience of working for a range of internal clients simultaneously.
· Full valid driving licence with access to a car, with suitable insurance for business purposes
