Overview
The Prince Albert Community Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Digital Support Technician to join our Central Support Team. This is an apprenticeship position and you will need to commit to completing a Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship.
This is a new and exciting opportunity to support the effective use of digital technologies across our Trust. You will play a key role in helping staff and students access and use digital tools confidently and securely. The role will involve providing frontline digital support, maintaining and configuring digital systems, and promoting digital best practices across our schools.

Responsibilities
* Provide frontline digital support to staff and students.
* Maintain and configure digital systems.
* Promote digital best practices across schools in the Trust.
* Support the effective use of digital technologies and promote online safety.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths).
* Desirable: studied a tech-related subject at Level 3 (e.g., BTEC IT, A Level Computer Science).
* Genuine interest in digital technologies and IT support.
* Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Experience using Microsoft Office and web-based platforms.
* Detail-oriented with commitment to confidentiality and data security.
* Eager to learn and develop technical and professional skills.
* Committed to safeguarding children and promoting online safety.
Apprenticeship Training
* You will undertake the Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship Standard and have the opportunity to gain relevant British Computer Society qualifications.
* Work alongside an experienced Service Desk team with coaching, group activities, online learning, and work-based tasks.

Salary and Location
Salary: £18,000
Location: Birmingham, B42 4TU
Please note: this is an office-based position and the apprentice will be required to attend our offices 5 days per week; therefore, it is likely that the successful candidate will have a commute of one hour or less.
