Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)

City Centre Recruitment is seeking a Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service while effectively managing and collecting customer debts.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries
✅ Hold weekly meetings with sales divisions to discuss key issues
✅ Review new and existing accounts for creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits
✅ Reconcile accounts, manage customer portals, and integrate with EDI systems
✅ Effectively manage and collect outstanding debts to maximise cash flow
✅ Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly and efficiently
✅ Issue customer statements, overdue reminders, and credit hold reports
✅ Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers

1. Strong organisation and time management skills
2. Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and accounting software
3. Excellent customer service skills
4. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
5. Self-motivated, resilient, and able to handle high workloads
6. Professional and effective communicator (phone, email, and written)
✔ Desirable:
7. Previous experience in a Credit Control role
8. Understanding of distribution business processes
