Roles/Responsibilities
* Carry out mechanical, electrical and pneumatic maintenance, fault x2011;finding and repairs across a range of production machinery.
* Provide day x2011;to x2011;day engineering support across site, ensuring equipment and processes run safely and reliably.
* Complete planned maintenance, routine checks and basic site upkeep, with specialist work passed to contractors when needed.
* Respond confidently to issues during the day shift, using sound judgement to keep production moving.
* Work closely with the engineering team to maintain a safe, organised and efficient operation.
What Were Looking For
* A multiskilled engineer with a mechanical/electrical background
* A recognized engineering qualification such as NVQ, BTEC or C and G
* A time:served engineer able to work alone at times.
* A steady, reliable person with good judgement, problem x2011;solving ability and the maturity to work without constant supervision.
* Experience in manufacturing, processing or heavy industry is ideal
