THE ROLE
This role oversees the core of our Get Your Car business, balancing supply and demand to ensure excellent transaction experiences across new, used, and leasing products. Success depends on generating high-quality traffic and matching vehicle supply accordingly, with accountability for both.
The role involves identifying underperformance and holding teams accountable, monitoring and reporting on trading metrics, diagnosing issues, and driving corrective actions. It is a cross-functional position working with leadership, marketing, finance, and product teams to meet business goals and share best practices across regions.
The Head of Trading will also serve as an internal UK representative, advising the UK Director on strategic directions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Own trading performance, monitor key metrics, and communicate with executive and broader teams.
* Lead forums and act as the UK’s representative in the absence of the Country Director.
* Diagnose issues and drive resolution activities.
* Implement actions to improve performance across the organization.
* Ensure trading targets and profitability are met within planned investments.
* Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and product teams for optimal outcomes.
* Work with product teams to enhance user experience, balancing dealer and customer needs.
* Identify and implement commercial practice improvements.
