About the Role
Basingstoke Hospital and North Hampshire Hospital (BNHH) has a vacancy for a CT Clinical Site Lead to join our dedicated team of Radiographers that are offering outstanding CT services to our patients.
You will be joining the department at a very exciting time when our Radiology Department has engaged in a fully managed equipment replacement programme which will result in a departmental refurbishment and installation of new imaging equipment incorporating the latest technology.
BNHH has 3 brand new Canon CT scanners: 2 Prime and 1 Prism.
HHFT supports specialist services for rare and complex illnesses for patients from across the UK, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer and pseudomyxoma peritoneal. We undertake a wide variety of CT imaging examinations to complement these specialities including cardiac, trauma, body imaging and CT colonography. We also perform a wide range of vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies as well as offering CT‑led interventional radiology procedures and an ablation service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the CT service at BNHH, ensuring high quality imaging and patient safety.
* Manage CT examinations across a broad spectrum of specialties and interventional procedures.
* Prioritise ever‑changing worklists and coordinate extended day, night and weekend services.
* Maintain and oversee the operation and upkeep of the new Canon CT scanners.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experienced CT radiographer with proven leadership skills.
* Proactive approach to providing outstanding care for every patient.
* Well‑organised team player with great clinical knowledge.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise worklists.
* Excellent working knowledge of CT and patient safety.
