At Prominent Education, part of the Xinlung Group, we help students to achieve their goals through a series of services. Currently, we are experiencing demand from our well-established client base for one-to-one and group online and offline EFL/ESOL tuition in Manchester. We are looking to recruit experienced EFL teachers to join our team. Our educators deliver high-quality, bespoke sessions to our students.
* Start Date: ASAP
* Working hours & Patterns: Part-time, Weekends and Evenings
* Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored, interactive, one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions.
* Design individualised lesson plans based on the student’s learning needs.
* Track and assess students' progress, provide regular feedback to both students and parents, and adjust the teaching approach as needed.
* Effectively utilise online platforms, screen-sharing tools, and digital resources to engage students during virtual lessons.
* Maintain regular communication with the PE team regarding the student’s progress, track areas of weakness, and develop strategies to ensure students achieve their academic goals.
* A minimum of 5 years of EFL teaching experience.
* An excellent track record in one-to-one & group tutoring.
* Experience tutoring in an online and offline setting.
* TEFL/CELTA qualified or equivalent.
* Willingness to provide an enhanced DBS check.
* Ability to use Mandarin to support teaching is not essential but advantageous.
* Ability to tutor other subjects/ exams is not essential but advantageous.
