We are a family located in Wimborne Minster, and we have just recently moved back to the UK from Spain where our two young children were born. Our eldest was in school there and it is important to us that she continues to practice and learn Spanish frequently, at that our youngest picks us the basics along the way too. The role will primarily involve playing and spending time with our 6 year old in Spanish at our home, engaging and motivating her with fun activities based on her interests and ensuring their well-being at all times. We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive, and able to adapt to the needs of our children. Our children are home educated and we would like to organise a regular day and time per week but additional hours for babysitting or extra days could be an option too once we as a family have found someone we feel comfortable with. Experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language or bilingually is desirable, or in a school setting. The right candidate would be someone who is prepared to plan and prepare fun and engaging activites, take part in the games our children want to play and do so with enthusiasm while teaching Spanish words and phrases in a relaxed way and encouraging natural conversation.
