The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping the production plant running efficiently. That means:
8. Routine and preventative maintenance on key assets
9. Rapid fault finding and repairs when things go wrong
10. Supporting continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis
11. Working across gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and pipework
12. Collaborating with a multi-skilled engineering team
What You'll Need
We're after someone who's practical, proactive, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. You'll ideally bring:
13. A mechanical qualification (ONC/HNC or NVQ level 3)
14. Strong experience in a manufacturing environment
15. Solid knowledge of pumps, valves, bearings, and drives
16. Basic understanding of pneumatics and fluid systems
17. Bonus: any electrical appreciation or experience in FMCG
