Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Starting at £25,563.20, with potential earnings up to £32,283.20 through sleep-in shifts.
Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Bayview. You will work in a nurturing, family-like environment, supporting a maximum of four young people aged 8-18 who face social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Your Role
As a key member of our team, you will:
* Guide and support young people towards success, helping them thrive in a safe and positive environment.
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our 'Outstanding' or 'Good' rated homes, enhancing the quality and reputation of our services.
* Complete your Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Apprenticeship within two years if you don’t already have it.
* Hold a full UK driving license to facilitate your role.

Your Responsibilities
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will:
* Exceed National Standards set by Ofsted in your childcare practices.
* Develop and implement high-quality care plans tailored to each young person.
* Build trusting relationships with children, their families, and external partners.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
* Proactively engage with children, ensuring they feel valued and included.
* Monitor and support the emotional wellbeing of the young people in your care.
* Communicate effectively with management regarding any concerns or feedback.
* Participate actively in activities, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
