Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Schedule: Full Time
Start: September 2025
Location: Runcorn (WA7)
Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
We’re seeking a passionate and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive Early Years team in Runcorn. You will support children aged 3–5 in nursery and reception settings, delivering engaging phonics, literacy, numeracy and speech & language development sessions. You’ll observe pupil progress, help create a stimulating learning environment, and provide tailored support for children with additional needs (including 1:1 and small group work).
The ideal candidate:
* Assist to plan and execute fun and engaging activities and lessons for EYFS children
* Understand child development both in education and emotionally
* Previous experience working with EYFS age group
* Committed to creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
